About Me
Hello, I’m Alexander (Alex) Davidson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) committed to helping you navigate life’s challenges in a safe, non-judgmental space. I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including survivors of trauma, individuals experiencing sexual concerns, and those facing addiction. While I address a wide range of issues, I often focus on supporting teens and young adults—helping them develop resilience and coping strategies for a healthier future. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with law enforcement officers, firefighters, and military personnel, providing specialized care for the unique stressors and traumas these professions can bring.
I understand that life can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone. Drawing on extensive training in evidence-based practices, I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. I bring over three years of experience from Davis Sound Mind, along with more than three years of work in suicide intervention and prevention at the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are—honoring our shared human imperfection—while guiding you toward meaningful transformation and well-being.
Because I recognize the demands of modern life, I offer extended hours to accommodate busy schedules, seeing clients from 9 AM to 8 PM, Monday through Thursday. Together, we’ll work to identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and chart a path toward healing, growth, and resilience. Your well-being matters, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
